These traps are designed for tight spaces, they fit into the 28mm grey rigid waste pipe commonly used in most European caravans and motor-homes.
The NZMCA specify that a 40mm water traps must be used like in a house, this particular trap has a 18mm water trap depth, but they are baffled, to prevent water moving inside the trap, so they are ideal for RV's
The current self containment advice is that they may be used in tight spaces, but NZMCA recommend using 40mm traps where at all possible.
They are easy to install and easy to clean, they and can be fitted anywhere under the vehicle.
