Easily installed and operated, this water heater has a high volume recovery of 40 liters/hour. The unit has a 12V igniter and can operate on gas only. The power source is controlled by the flick of a switch. The tanks are made from high tensile steel, which is porcelain-lined and has been pressure tested. They come with a sacrificial anode designed to protect the tank from corrosion, therefore prolonging the life of the unit. However, the anodes need changing when serviced. The suburban retains heat well, as it has been fitted with a copolymer insulated jacket. The water heater is reliable, energy-efficient, and easy to maintain.
